Grim dawn fort haron8/31/2023 ![]() Much of this is intentional and so it's probably best you know now so you don't waste more time if endgame grinding isn't for you. There's nothing wrong with disliking this as a concept, I'm just making you aware that this isn't new. Most people should completely Normal relatively easily and then be done with the game. Endless farming of the same locations is also extremely par the course for most aRPG's, including more "casual" ones like Diablo 3.Ĭrate have said before they didn't intend for Elite/Ultimate to be done by most players anyway, and that endgame legendaries were for the dedicated. That route of play is normal for Path of Exile and was completely normal for Diablo 2 and Titan Quest as well. I really appreciate the people that take the time to make videos so I can get the answers I need without wasting time in game trying to hunt them down.ĭepends on how the designers intend the game to be played. I'm almost 38 now, so the whole making videos is something that just wasn't a thing in my time. Amateur astronomy is another hobby of mine so I think the constellation thing is cool, but it's not really cohesive and it takes a lot of time and effort to figure out how to get to what you want. It would be nice to know where to go to best prepare.Īlso, I've been using the devotion constellations to bolster my resists while also working towards those damage boosts. I've only died a handful of times so far, but throwing myself against stuff that I know I can be more prepared for seems silly. Currently I'm just to Necropolis, all side quests done, but I don't feel as if I should go much further until I fill out my bags with some resist gear. I've been visiting various places on the map looking for dungeons that scale. I often do a lot of research on games I take an interest in but I just haven't found much that was useful for this game. ![]() Those kinds of videos seem like they would be pretty popular, especially considering the content complete update and the steam sale. Those MOBs are only in their 30's and I chew through them.Īnyways, if there are guys like me that know what items they need but not where to get them and can't find videos that are current and relevant there's probably a lot of guys out there newer to the genre that this is a nightmare for. I also still farm Cronley for duelist sabres but no luck there yet. Tyrant's hold seems like it could be good, but it's a run from the rift and I need either more chaos resist or vitality resist because whatever damage they do there and in tomb of archon hits me hard. I'm running the sunken reliquary, and the first three levels of SoT because they scale with level but those are the only two routes I know right now. I want to move up to Veteran, but I'm just not getting the drops. I'm a couple of weeks in, level 45 blademaster. The "content complete" update for this game got my attention so I grabbed it in the steam sale. I've played tons of ARPGs so this game was on my radar but I don't throw money at early access games very often. If you're looking for a good video to make there don't seem to be many about farming routes for the gear checks. Just a heads up to a Redditor that makes videos from the perspective of a gamer of almost 30 years that just started this game. Released in 2016, it currently has two expansions: Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods. This ARPG features complex character development, hundreds of unique items, crafting and quests with choice & consequence. And i have NOT found a single better epic or MI up to now.Grim Dawn is an action role-playing game for the PC, developed by veterans of Iron Lore Entertainment, the creators of Titan Quest.Įnter an apocalyptic fantasy world where humanity is on the brink of extinction, iron is valued above gold and trust is hard earned. Fact is: im using only yellow weapons since the warden or so. Sry but I just cant calculate in the slight minimalistic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chance, that they may or may not spawn with the right affix. Why should I even look for AP if it has no impact on my dps, and if it has, do I have to GUESS how much DPS I can sacrifice for xyz% Armor Pen?Īnd if we get back to the "you just dont find the right affixes" thing. Someone recently told me, because they're mainly swords, and AP is not in the DPS calculation, but still. I had multiple, even up to date, MI weapons. ![]() You're just finding crap MI's without the stats you're looking for.Īgain. But when any chosen item, reduces my DPS by up to 300 but the same item with Flat phys damage and attack speed increases it by 100, I rather say I'm right.īecause MI's can spawn with any affix.
